
The coastline of Wales is a great place to visit. It is beautiful and offers great camping opportunities. For all of the attractions, it is worth renting a car. Some of the finest are found close to Cromer, Exmouth and Wells. While you're there, visit Blakeney, Blakeney, Morston and Polperro.
The beaches along the coast aren’t well-known for their sand. However, Cliff Head provides some beautiful views. In the summer, a finger of rock rises out of the ocean and makes a nice spot for soaking up the sun. If you're looking for home-cooked goodies, you can visit your local butcher and baker.
The Slapton Sands Camping and Caravanning Club has some of the finest facilities and is the only one of its kind in Devon. The club has 115 well-appointed pitches on grassy field and offers several tours in the area with one of their members. The club also runs boat trips to nearby Totnes. The best part is that they do not charge you to visit the site.
Although you might not have realized it, Cliff Head campsite is free. The campsite has a decent shower and toilet facility. There are also washing facilities, and a basic amenities block with fridge and freezer.
Pembrokeshire Heritage Coast has a spectacular view of Milford Haven Estuary. There are many beaches nearby. There are many opportunities to swim and surf. The site also has a site shop that sells local produce. A Wi-Fi hotspot is available at no cost. You can also rent a camping cabin or a shower, which is quite rare.
It is best to cruise the coast, but you could also take a ferry trip to the Isle of Arran. There is also the option to visit Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve. You can also visit the St Davids Cathedral, the most impressive cathedral in Britain and the smallest British city.
You can also head north and visit Holy Island and Lindisfarne. You may even find a shipwreck sticking out of the sand. You can also explore Cape Range National Park and Turquoise Bay. A hotel or campervan is a great option if you want to take a break from camping. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby if you don’t feel like cooking.
While most campsites are found in the coast area, there are also many options for camping in the nearby countryside. Gibraltar Farm in Morecambe Bay offers a separate site, with 10 acres old woodland, and a modern shower block. The best thing about the site? It's centrally located so it's easy and convenient to get around.
