Hidden Acres Family Campground is a great place to camp in Preston, Connecticut. This charming campground is close to attractions such as the Mystic Aquarium and Mohegan Sun. The campground is well kept and offers something for everyone. Hidden Acres is a well-known spot that has been popular for many decades.

The campground has 150 sites, including tent-only and electric-only options. There are also RV and cabin rentals. There's a store on site that sells bundles of wood. The on-site restaurant serves a great selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes. The campsites have a small pond and a swimming area. The campground is pet-friendly. All sites allow dogs, but they must be well-behaved.

The campground offers the following amenities: a petting Zoo, barnyard Goats, and an stocked fishing Pond. A scavenger hunt is available, as well as a mini golf course. Some of the sites overlook Douthat Lake. The bathrooms in the hotel are modern and clean. You can find a complete schedule of dances and other events.

The campsite charges a $38 base site fee during the week. Weekends are $10. A half-price rate is available for military families. All guests visiting the facilities must register. Although the campground offers many activities and has a few amenities, its unique location is what makes it stand out from similar parks. Located near the Quinebaug River, this campground has a quiet and peaceful setting, and is conveniently located to the Mystic Aquarium, Mohegan Resort, and the Mystic Golf Club.
