Whether you are camping by car, backpacking, or in the backcountry for a few days, cooking at your camp is fun. The right gear can make the whole process easier and more enjoyable. You can find everything you need, from cookware and stoves to utensils to accessories.

Bushcraft cooking supplies:

When you are cooking or camping with a group, you need pots and pans that will last. These items are used frequently, and you'll want to make sure they won't break when you have to store them for a future trip.

Cast Iron cookware works well for camping. You don't need to worry about it sticking to other materials and it is light enough to be carried. It is non-sticky and can last for years when properly seasoned.

Pots, Pans & Dutch Ovens:

If you'll be doing more elaborate cooking in your camping kitchen, consider buying multiple pots and pans to accommodate the number of people in your group. Many campers find that it's better to have a few different sized pots than one huge pot that's too big for the group's needs.

Stainless Steel & Titanium

It's the strongest metal and is a good choice for backpackers who use their pots to the max. It's also a favorite for guides and institutions where the cooks take a lot of abuse, as it's strong, scratch-resistant, and lightweight.

Aluminum & Titanium:

Aluminum and titanium are typically the most lightweight materials available for car camping, backpacking, or other outdoor activities. They're both lighter, more flexible and less durable than stainless but also more expensive.

Non-Stick Cookware:

For cooking over the campfire, pots and frying pans must be safe for the earth and emit no harmful fumes. The most common are ceramic, Teflon and seasoned iron.

Food Storage:

Invest in a collapsible food container to keep your food warm on the road. It can store everything from oats or rice noodles that are ready to eat to chili and pasta. These containers are also great for tailgating and picnics because they are small, lightweight and insulated.

Insulated bottles:

A good camping cup is lightweight and insulated so it can keep drinks hot or chilled even in the sunshine. We're a big fan of Hydro Flask, which makes a large and lightweight vacuum-sealed mug that comes in several colors and can be easily stored in your pack or in the trunk of your car.

Portable Cooking Tables:

You can bring a camp table to use when you want to prepare meals in the backcountry or at a camping site. When not in use, it can be folded up and used as a table to prepare meals at the campfire.
